In late 2001, having attained their goals in their respective places of employment, Robert Burke and Kevin McKenna, the principals of RB Mac Construction Co., Inc., realized they would need to venture out on their own if they were to continue to grow and expand in the construction business. With a combined 46 years experience in the commercial and industrial construction industry, they knew they could create a business with a focus on customer service that would never sacrifice quality.

On April 1st 2002, R.B. Mac Construction Co. Inc. was founded by its partners Bob and Kevin. Starting small, R.B. Mac grossed $215,000.00 in sales in its first year. Building on hard work, dedication, and a strong desire for quality construction, 2003 produced sales of $1.6 million dollars. Continuing this growth trend, 2006-2013 yielded average sales of $6.5 million dollars per year.

Since its inception, R.B. Mac Construction has grown from the two original partners to a staff of ten Project Management and Supervisory personnel. With that, R.B. Mac Construction has combined experience of over 120 years and has established itself in the Greater Western New York and Rochester region as a respected competitor and quality general contractor. R.B. Mac Construction has been recognized within the industry for a high standard of excellence and is the proud recipient of the 2006 APWA Project of the Year Award- Structural Category for the NCCC Health Education Center Project.
